The whistle has been blown, and we are underway here at Stadio Olimpico home to the Roma side. As a very strong start to the game comes from Roma with an early chance within the first three minutes as Abraham takes a shot from close range but flies over the top of the goal, linesmen call offside.

Both sides are making a good start, but Roma is the more dominate side in the first 10 minutes of this game. With both teams having a corner, nothing came from either set pieces. Still looking for that opening goal.

GOAL! For Roma with 15 minutes played Perez opens the score board with a well-timed run into the box with the cross coming from Shaarawy and Perez, he takes the one touch shot on his right foot striking the past the goalkeeper and into the back of the net. Roma takes the early lead 1-0.

Half hour approaches and Zoyra conceded a corner, their second of the game. A very clever set piece from the corner flag, catches Roma out but unfortunately nothing comes from it and Roma manage to clear the ball up the pitch into safety.

With possession at Roma’s feet and a strong run into Zorya’s final third for “19” makes the pass to Zaniolo the young Italian superstar and GOAL! For Roma, with a powerful strike off his boot blasting the ball past the goalkeeper into the netting of the goal taking the lead to 2-0 for Roma. This young star is on his way back after a difficult time and the crowd go wild for the midfielder/winger.

PENALTY! For Roma as Perez was taken down in the box. The pressure is on Zorya’s goalie, but he is standing strong on the goal line waiting for the strike. As the player shoots the ball into the bottom right corner, the penalty is saved by Matsapura as he keeps the score line to 2-0 going into half time. Can Zorya pick themselves up going into the break or will Roma keep their intensity going into the next 45?

Substitution at half time for Zorya with Zahedi and Hromov coming off and making the way for Hladkyy and Nazaryan.

As Roma have the possession of the ball within the opening minute of the second half GOAL! For Roma as Abraham is set up by Zaniolo and the ball is slotted into the back of the net. A great start to the second half and with a goal and assist from the young Italian, are we looking at the future of Roma with these two rising stars. With the score at 3-0 with 44 minutes still to play.

60 minutes have been played and Roma are dominant in, possession, but they have had lots of missed chances on goal, clinically the finishing is not there for the home side now. Will Zorya pull a goal back and get into the game?

Substitution for Roma as they take off Faraone, Smalling and Zaniolo and bring on Zalewski, Ibanez and Shomurodov.

WHAT A GOAL! For Roma with an overhead kick from Abraham, what a mark he is making at the club. Sensational goal 4-0 to Roma.

Substitution again for Roma as they take off Abraham, this seems to look like a planned sub, but what a way to exit the game for the young English player.

Roma then makes a final change as Mkhitary makes his way off the pitch to make way for Missori who is making his 1st appearance for the club at the game of 17, what a game to get your first cap.

Last of the substitutions for Zorya as Sayyadmanesh and Buletsa come off and Owusu and Bello Fagundes make their way onto the pitch for the final minutes of the game.

90th minute and yellow cards are shown to Karsdrop for a late challenge, and another shown to Mancini. The fourth official signals to an additional three minutes of extra time.

FULL TIME!! Zoyra put up a fight throughout the game, but Roma came out on top and were dominant throughout the full 90 minutes. Roma takes all three points with a 4-0 win at home.

What a game that has been. A really good performance from both sides who battled through this exiting game until the end.
